ASA Songwriting Awards - 15th August 2010 Kathy has made it through to the 2nd round of judging with 2 of her songs, in the Country Section of the ASA Songwriting Competition 2010.

Kathy has made it through to the finals - 9th January 2010 Kathy's song "Little Piece of Heaven" Track no 4 from her Album has made it through to the Finals of the National Country Songwriting Competition in Tamwoth 2010, Traditional Section. Jaws2009 Workshop - 30th January 2009 Kathy attended the Jaws2009 workshop in Newcastle on the 27th & 28th January 2009 which included a vocal masterclass with Renee Grant-Williams, a songwriting session with Karin Paparelli & Bill Diluigi & a Guitar session with Gary Talley. Kathy is a finalist in the National Songwriting Competition - 5th January 2009 Kathy has made it through to the final of the National Songwriting Competition with one of her original songs "One Piece at a Time" in the Amateur Contemporary section.
